This watercolor activity is so well done! The painting instructions are simple so a beginner can have success and each picture can be completed in around 10 minutes if desired. I loved painting with some grandchildren where they could hear the story of Jesus Christ's last week, see the symbols, and paint, a tactile activity. The activity addresses a lot of learning styles. Whitney has a gift for painting and storytelling. The children had several questions about each picture, which means a deeper study of Holy Week and Christ's love for each of us.

Wonderful tutorial!

The Holy Week watercolor class was a wonderful family activity to do with my kids. The steps were clear and easy to follow for both my early elementary-aged kids, and I enjoyed getting to be creative along with them. The lessons helped connect what we were painting to its importance in the Bible narrative.
