I love how beautiful this homeschool planner is and that is practical in all areas! Not only for keeping track of my curriculum picks for each child but also the daily lesson layout, a spot to keep track of Bible verses, field trips, book readings, meal planning and etc. It has been so helpful in prepping for this next school year! The only thing I would want to change is the thickness of the paper, it is really thin and you can see through to the other side but other than that I love it!
I have been a dedicated paper planner user for 2 decades, recently I have been bouncing around with different brands to try and find the best balance between homemaking and homeschool life. I was tired of using 2 separate planners, but with 4 children and lots of lesson plans I couldn't find anything that would work, UNTIL this. I love love love the 2 spreads for each week- having an overview page as well as a more detailed page really works for the way my brain plans. However, the paper is SO THIN. I can clearly see through to the other side and my brain just cannot handle it. When I already have so much writing on the pages it feels cluttered to be able to see through as well. The only other con is that the start is in August, which seems late for us year-round schoolers, but that's just a personal preference. That being said, I am considering trying to copy/print and bind this planner myself on heavier weighted paper so I can still use it.
*There is also a missed date in the October monthly view which throws the rest of the month off- if something like that would be a deal breaker for you, personally I whited it out and fixed it myself*
Hi Amber, thank you for your feedback. We plan on increasing the paper weight and ensuring the designers don't make any typos in the future. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please reach out to hello@brighterdaypress.com if you would like a refund!

I love this planner overall but there is a typo in the month of October which means a significant amount of the days of the month are incorrect.

I absolutely love this planner. So gorgeous and works well for our family needs
I was really excited to get my new homeschool planner in the mail, and it arrived beautifully packaged and so pretty in person. But unfortunately it is not a good fit for me. I love everything BDP and am really thankful for Whitney’s ministry! Her planner is a lovely reflection of her style and I love the intentional details she added to it. But like many have said, the pages are pretty thin and I don’t believe it would make it through the year. The binding is beautiful but the pages don’t easily turn and may get ripped easily if not handling carefully. It is also rather large and heavy. I’ve owned many different planners since high school and none have come close to feeling this cumbersome. Also, it could really use a folder page. So it is for these reasons that I will be using a different planner this year. I will be keeping an eye out for next year to see what she has in store!
