What a Simple Summer to Start!

We are loving the Simple Summer guide so far! We chose this guide because the upcoming fall will be our family’s first year homeschooling our 4 children. It took a lot of time researching the best curriculums, and felt that something for the summer would be a great way to get the kids into a rhythm beforehand. I’m grateful for the resources provided through emails also with preparing for this new season & journey. The nature studies, along with a biblical base was a requirement for us and this checked those boxes. We are so excited to finish the study, and utilize other Brighter Day Press materials in the school year!

A Simple Summer

I am excited to do the Simple Summer! I will be doing it weekly over FaceTime with some of our grandchildren that live in CO. We usually read together and paint the watercolor pictures together. My daughter will do the activities with them. She said she might ask some other families from her to church to do the activities with them.

I will be visiting some of our other grandchildren in Maine for a week in July and plan on doing a weeks activities with them. I think we will do the beach theme with them. I am looking forward to both opportunities!

I love your book suggestions! I check them out each month and then read them by FaceTime to the kiddos!

We also did the Simple Spring watercolor tutorials together over FaceTime.

Thank you for all you do! It gives me fun activities and things to buy them (books, paints, etc.) instead of toys they will lose interest in.

Sincerely,
Bridget Corridoni
