This 4-week Christmas guide is designed for ages 3 to 7, but can certainly include older and younger siblings as well. The plans include lessons for 4 days each week, leaving Friday as a catch-up day or to fill with your own family's Christmas traditions. You can expect to spend 30 minutes to an hour working through them each day.
Each day, you'll find a Bible reading with a short commentary and discussion questions, a suggested picture book to read, and engaging activities in three categories:
Also includes hand-painted watercolor nativity elements that you and your child can use throughout the study.
It's never too early to introduce your children to Jesus, the true meaning of Christmas. More than anything, I pray this guide points them to Him.
We are so excited to use this as our December unit study. We have previously used the Thanksgiving unit and loved the gentle approach to the holiday. All of these resources are so well done and we are very appreciative of them!
This was a beautiful way to make sure my kids (5 &4) understood the real meaning for the season. I loved that each day had a Bible passage to read! The books were all excellent choices. Simple yet fruitful! I'm looking forward to trying her other curriculum packages in the future!
I did this with my 3 kids (ages 2, 5, & 7) & they LOVED it! I even learned something new! The crafts are beautiful, the devotions are so well done, & I loved the quality time I spent with my kids. We made this our "Christmas School" for the whole month of December! They couldn't wait to get started each day. Thank you for writing such a quality guide I can trust!
So many Christmas guides from other publishers are geared for older children and the younger children are just a tag a long. This one looks AMAZING for pre-K and younger elementary! Doable projects, fun activities, and written for the young ones to understand. So excited to use this with my 5 year old!
I did half of this curriculum last December with my kids ages 8, 3.5, and 1.5. We absolutely loved it and are so excited to do the second half this year during the advent season! The devotionals, worksheets, and activities were right up our alley! I will say that the number of projects in each week was a bit more than I could manage (hence the reason we only got through half of it). But I'm kind of glad because I don't want it to be over yet :)
