I purchased this mug from the “imperfect” sale and I’m having trouble even finding the imperfections! The shape and thickness of the mugs is slightly different than others I’ve purchased but it is beautiful and fully functional! I absolutely love it!
I missed the initial stock so when I saw the Raising Readers mug return to stock (even though it was a ‘not quite perfect’) I jumped on it and I’m so glad I did. The defect in the lettering is barely noticeable when looking up close and nearly impossible to find at an average distance. The color is beautiful and exceeds my expectations in every way. For a few years I've used one of the imperfect mugs which reads, "Every Hour I Need Thee." When another mug was listed with the phrase "Do The Next Thing," the refrain from one of my heroes in the faith, Elisabeth Elliott, I had to buy it to use as my daily office mug. While the stamping of the phrase may not be "perfect," the quality of the mug and the "hand" are excellent. This mug shape is now my favorite! I'm glad to have one for my morning time with Jesus and now one to accompany me to work as well.
Even though the mug had an imperfection, it’s still one of my favorites and is 100% functional, I love it! Our kids love to read, so the “raising readers” in a beautiful color is perfect! You can’t go wrong with perfectly imperfect pottery!
