There is nothing more powerful than beginning your day in the Word and in prayer, seeking the Lord's strength and wisdom as you navigate motherhood. This set of cards is a simple tool to lead moms through the book of Philippians —a letter of joy and hope that brings lasting encouragement to us, even 2,000 years later! This study was co-written by my own mom, Melodie Tunney, who has navigated more than 35 years of motherhood with grace and joy.

Each card contains four sections:

READ: Open your Bible and read a few verses that move through the book of Philippians chronologically.

PONDER: This section contains a question or quote that relates to the Bible passage you just read. Spend a few minutes thinking or journaling your response.

MEMORIZE: Each morning, you’ll practice a memory verse that’s part of a larger passage. Pull out the memory verse card and place it in a prominent place where you’ll see it often. On the back of each card, you’ll find a helpful memorization tool that uses the first letter of each word to jog your memory. By the end of this study, you will have memorized Philippians 4:4-8 (NIV), an encouraging portion of Scripture that you can call to mind on the hard days.

PRAY: Each card gives a simple prayer prompt that aligns with that day’s Bible reading to help guide your prayers.

Who is this written for?
This is for moms with children of any age who desire to spend time in God's Word and find truth and encouragement!
How long is the study?
That part is up to you! There are 30 days worth of study on these cards. If you use these cards consistently 5 days a week, it will take you 6 weeks. But feel free to take this at your own pace. The cards have no dates on them... you simply move to the next card when you're ready.
What if I've never studied the Bible or memorized Scripture before?
This is perfect for you! The passages are short, the questions are meaningful, and you'll memorize a powerful portion of Scripture. It will be a meaningful study for you, no matter how long you've been reading the Bible.

What translation of the Bible is used?
For the Scripture memory, NIV is used. But you can read the Scripture passages from any translation you like best.
Who did that beautiful art?
I'm so honored to feature the paintings of the incredibly talented Brittany Smith on these cards. She is an artist, wife, and mom of three who resides outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. You can find her full collection on her website: Brittany Smith Studio.
How big are the cards?
There are 25 4x6" cards printed on matte-coated cardstock that will be sent in a cotton drawstring gift bag. (Bamboo card stand not included, but can be purchased here: Bamboo card stand)

Printed version: Printed Morning Moments for Moms cards are printed on 4x6" matte-coated cardstock, and they'll arrive in a protective sleeve and a cotton drawstring bag, perfect for keeping or giving.
Digital download: When you purchase the listing for digital download cards, you'll receive an immediate digital download to the email address you provide. No physical cards will be sent. To print the 4x6" cards from home, set your printer to scale at 100% and print double-sided, then trim as needed. You may also have these printed at a local print shop.

Morning moments for moms: Philippians

I loved this bible study so much I’ve gone through it twice now! It is very convenient for me during this season of my life, but also full of truth and encouragement. It made me really think deeper on passages of Philippians, and I learned many new things. I recently purchased this study as a gift to my sister, too. Thank you!
