Mother's Day Gift Guide 2024

Mother's Day is just around the corner, and I thought I would share some of my tried-and-true favorites in case you're looking for ideas for moms and grandmothers in your life (or if you'd like to forward this list to your husband for ideas for yourself). ;) I hope you find something on this list that encourages you in your journey as a mom!

I've included affiliate links in this post. If you purchase through these links, I will receive a small commission without added cost to you. I only recommend what I truly love. Thank you!

  1. ESV Journaling Bible by Crossway Books and Hosanna Revival—This gorgeous ESV journaling Bible is hardcover and has ruled lines in the margins for taking sermon notes or journaling as you read through the Bible.
  1. Morning Moments for Moms Devotional Cards—These are the perfect devotional cards to help you stay in the Word. We have two sets: one is a study through the book of Philippians, and the other is 1 Thessalonians. Both have the same format and are the resources I wish I had in my early days as a mom when I needed a little bit of guidance and encouragement to stay in God's Word, even in a busy season. They are biblical, beautiful, and manageable. Use the coupon code MOM for 15% off any of our Morning Moments for Moms cards!
  1. Mom Heart Moments by Sally Clarkson—This devotional has been such a source of encouragement and wisdom for me over the years, and it has recently been reprinted in this gorgeous hardcover edition. I think it should be on the shelves of every mom!
  1. Priscilla, Where Are You? A Call to Joyful Theology by Natalie Brand—This is a recommendation from my friend Hunter Beless of the Journeywomen Podcast (you can listen to her recent interview with the author here). It is a short but impactful book about the importance of being women of sound doctrine. I am so encouraged by it so far!
  1. The Quiet Time Companion by Wholehearted Quiet Time—This is my favorite quiet time journal (and has been for over 3 years) that has space for prayer, journaling, sermon notes, and more. The founder of Wholehearted, Naomi Vacaro, recently announced that they'll be closing up shop at the end of the summer, so if you'd like a Quiet Time Companion, now is the time! Once they sell out, they'll no longer be available. They're offering 30% off their current Quiet Time Companions with the code BYEFORNOW. Be sure to grab one before they're gone! I plan on stocking up for future years.
  1. Keen Sandals - I bought these sandals in black and tan last summer and wore them all summer long... and somehow, they still look brand new! They are incredibly comfortable and supportive and can be dressed up for church or down for a nature walk. I love that they can get wet but dry quickly. They're the perfect shoe for moms in the summer. I wear mine every day (and I have the tan lines to prove it).
  2. Orgain Organic Protein—This year, I've been focusing more on protein intake for overall health and energy, and this is my favorite protein powder to add to smoothies. It's lightly sweet but not overpowering and delivers 21 grams of protein per serving!
  3. Favorite Earthley supplements - Earthley is my favorite natural wellness company, and our natural medicine cabinet is full of Earthley products for our whole family. If I had to choose just three favorite supplements for moms, they would be Calm & Clarity (which provides just what it says!), Energy Plus (for natural iron and energy), and Natural Balance (for hormonal balance). If you're a first-time Earthley customer, use the code BRIGHTERDAY for a discount!
  4. DIME Beauty Skincare - My husband gifted me with DIME skincare for Christmas, and I love how it makes my skin feel. I especially love the TBT face serum that I put on after washing my face and before moisturizing. It definitely makes my skin smooth and glowy! You can use the code WHITNEYN for 20% off anything from the DIME website!
  5. Favorite matcha + matcha whisk set—I always have a morning matcha latte with vanilla Nutpods creamer, and this is my favorite matcha I've found! It doesn't taste bitter and gives me just enough energy for the morning without a big caffeine spike that later lets me down.
  6. Dumbbell Hand Weights—Most mornings, I work out with free Nourish Move Love workouts on YouTube and I love these Amazon-brand weights. My husband and I both use them, and we use the 15-lb. and 20-lb. weights most frequently. But if you're just getting started, I love this set of 3 different pairs of weights.
  1. Meal Planning Notepad—I keep this $8 magnetic notepad on the side of my fridge, and every Sunday afternoon, I sit down and loosely plan our meals for the week. I then order all of our groceries for the week and can look every day for my lunch and dinner plan (for which we already have the ingredients). This eliminates so much decision fatigue! I love the simple design and practicality of this little notepad.
  1. Truly Simple Cookbook—Speaking of cooking, this is my new favorite cookbook because the recipes are truly simple, healthy, and easily adapted to be gluten-free and dairy-free if needed. We've especially loved the gluten-free crepes (the best crepes I've ever had!), the lemon honey drizzle, the Mediterranean meatballs, the tzatziki sauce... I could go on. We haven't tried a recipe we don't like!
  1. Travel First Aid Kit - I bought one of these for my daughter, Lanie, for Christmas (she's a little nurse in the making) and loved it so much I had to buy one for myself! It's affordable, compact, and includes quality supplies (i.e. bandaids that actually stick) as well as a sewing kit, a disposable thermometer, ointment, sting relief, and so much more. I love keeping mine in my nature backpack for hikes or just in the glove compartment of our minivan. It's come in so handy!
  1. White Noise Machine Alarm Clock - This clock is similar to the Hatch alarm clock (but much more affordable). In my effort to keep my phone out of our bedroom, I've begun to use this clock with 100% success! The way I set it up, a light slowly comes on five minutes before the alarm sound goes off, and I love waking up gently.
  1. Burt's Bees Moisturizing Matte Lip Crayon in Redwood Forest—This is my recent favorite natural lip color. It stays for a long time, is moisturizing, and is buildable from just a little bit of color to a deep red. There are several other shades to try in this same line, too!
  1. Dazzle Dry Mini Nail Kit - I am a big fan of the Dazzle Dry nail system (it dries hard in 5 minutes, lasts for more than 7 days, and is free of many of the toxins that other nail polishes contain). My favorite color is Touch of Love, and this mini kit is a great way to try the whole system and see if you like it! Other colors I like are Campus Crush, Rapid Red, and Wanderer. You can read my full review of Dazzle Dry (as compared to a couple of other nail polish brands) here
  1. Hu Chocolate Bar—Hu Chocolate is my absolute favorite brand because it's sweetened with coconut sugar. This hazelnut coffee dark chocolate is my favorite flavor. Such a treat!

4. Tazo Glazed Lemon Loaf Herbal Tea - Every afternoon, I make a special cup of tea with two bags of this delicious lemon loaf tea, a teaspoon of honey, and about 1/4 cup of frothed vanilla Nutpods creamer. It is delicious!
