A home blessing.

Several years ago, our pastor Ray Ortlund would begin each service at Immanuel Nashville with these words. The room would quickly go from happy chatter to reverent silence as we listened... because ALL of us could find ourselves in one of these categories, all of us in deep need of Jesus.

    

Pastor Ray would say, "This church opens wide her doors..." but I made this sign nearly a decade ago with the words "This home opens wide her doors" as a prayer for our home. It has hung in each home we've lived in since then.
