This workbook is designed for ages 7 and up, but adults will enjoy it just as much! Younger children may need some assistance or to pause the videos along the way.

Nope! The step-by-step instructions and video tutorials make it beginner-friendly, while still offering fun and creativity for more experienced painters.

If you've never painted before and you're looking to learn basic watercolor techniques, we recommend our comprehensive Intro to Watercolor course.

Pre-outlined watercolor paper is included in the workbook. For this class, I use this Winsor & Newton travel paint set along with a set of round brushes. The brushes and paints available in our shop would also work well!

The digital class is completely online, while the workbook is a physical resource you can paint from at your own pace. Plus, the workbook includes two exclusive tutorials you won’t find in the digital class: the Amber Moth and the Autumn Heart.

Each tutorial can typically be completed in under 20 minutes, depending on the project and your pace. The Amber Moth tutorial is a bit longer (25 minutes).

No worries—the workbook provides pre-printed outlines on premium watercolor paper, so you can jump right into painting without sketching.
