My children and I loved this study. LOVED it. As a mom of five, this unit study met many needs at once. Firstly, it provides a basic Bible lesson that is then followed by such fun (and easy!) science experiments, crafts, themed snacks, and read alouds. Secondly, it allowed me to enjoy the time with my children because the planning was already done and easy to follow with very little prep. I loved stepping back and watching my children observe and learn and ask to do more activities beyond the ones provided. I would also add that it was easy to simplify the activities for younger children while challenging the older ones. I bought the digital bundle of both the cards and the study and had the Creation Cards printed as full size 8.5x11 sheets on glossy cardstock. They are gorgeous! Such a great visual for the kids - hands down the best visual I have used for teaching the Creation story over the past 10+ years.
Whitney's curriculum content is exemplary and this study is a perfect example of the thought and intentionality she puts into her work. It is both beautifully written and beautiful to look through, and really just gave us continual opportunities to learn and have fun together as a family.
