Watercolor Class: 8 Autumn-Inspired Scenes

My daughters enjoyed watercoloring with Whitney. The video tutorials were easy to follow and helped my girls create beautiful watercolor paintings.

We are almost finished with the fall painting classes and can’t wait to order the winter classes soon in time to do with the recommended picture books!

We have loved Whitney’s art for years it’s fun to easily create beautiful masterpieces with my girls!! Thank you for the time and love you pour into every single thing you do. It is a testimony to Jesus love for his sheep!

I love the way the lessons are put together! For me, the video tutorials are an excellent starting point. I begin with the video and print-out of the project I am preparing to do next. As I watch the video tutorial, I make notes or underline important points that I want to remind myself of when I begin working on my own painting.
After the tutorial, I’m ready to start on the drawing with much more confidence than I ever could have mustered up on my own!! I have yet to be displeased with the outcome of any of the projects I've tried! I feel like I am finally REALLY LEARNING about color mixing to attain the colors I have always wanted to attain, and to incorporate techniques that give the finished painting the “look” that I love and have always wanted to achieve with my paintings! I look forward to a new project and learning experience with each new day!

Easy to navigate to the materials given. Excellent quality. I do these videos alongside my 5 yr old who loves to paint. We added this to our homeschool as an affordable alternative to a in-person paint class for her. For both of us, however, the videos seem a little fast for a “class”. We pause it quite a bit to stop and catch up. I think adding another maybe more generic “intro to watercolor” or “how to mix colors” video along with the themed kit would be a nice addition to help beginners and children feel a little less overwhelmed with the pace. Overall tho, great for the price! And beautiful scenes to paint. Will purchase more in the future.

Absolutely love everything about the lesson and the supplies she linked were high quality and affordable! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the tutorial videos are on YouTube. I don’t feel 100% that I can let my kids do it without me right there the whole time due to not knowing what commercials will pop up during the lesson or the content they might see suggested before or after the video tutorials. But the actual content of this tutorial is excellent! So 5 stars to Brighter Day Press and 1 star to YouTube haha
