Watercolor Class: 8 Summer-Inspired Scenes

I love these water color classes and so do my kids age 6 & 5

The watercolor class was fun to do with my kids who are 7 and 4. The seven year old could follow along well. We paused the video a couple times. The four year old had fun, and I loved that he could join us at no real added cost. We all learned some things, and we had a ton of fun together!

We are doing a short summer study on various ecosystems and this delightful course was such a fun addition to our plans. We've loved painting the clownfish especially but are working our way through all of them. I am so thankful for beautiful resources like this one for the whole family to enjoy.

I wanted a fun activity to do with my kids during summer break that would appeal to all of us and wouldn’t take too much planning on my part. We’re planning on doing a class weekly, so we’ve only done two so far, but they have been a hit with my kids ages 4, 6, 8, and 10. My mom jumped in on one lesson while she was at my house one day, and we might include some other family members that are visiting in future lessons. Everyone was able to participate at their own level and learn from the techniques, even my 6 year old who decided to sit and watch with us but paint something totally different.
My 9 year old son said to me after doing the second class, “Thank you SO much for buying that painting class, Mom! I’m learning SO MUCH!”

My children and I have loved the watercolor class. We have no prior watercolor experience and have successfully completed the course. Highly recommend!
