Wholesome chapter books for sensitive readers

Our oldest son is a voracious reader and averages more than 200 pages a day. He especially loves reading entire series, and his favorite past series have been The Magic Tree House, Imagination Station, and Secret of the Hidden Scrolls.⁣

While he's very well-read, he's also still very innocent, and I want to protect that. A book from the I Survived series gave him nightmares and he prefers Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and Winnie-the-Pooh to more intense novels.

So because I'm having a hard time coming up with new recommendations every few days, I polled a lovely group of homeschool moms, asking for wholesome chapter book recommendations that are perfect for more sensitive readers. These are the series that came up most frequently, so I thought I'd pass them along (listed alphabetically by author). I hope you enjoy!
