Christmas Gift Guide 2024

It’s gift-giving season, and I’d love to share a few of my favorite gift ideas for kids, women, and men!

Since having children, our family has adopted a 3-gift rule at Christmas: everyone receives something to read, something to wear, and something to play with. This keeps gift-giving delightfully simple. We also give stockings filled with items from our local dollar store that our children have chosen for one another (plus a few small things I’ve added) and a new pair of pajamas that they open on Christmas Eve.

I want to share the following list with an important reminder: The best gift you can give your children is a peaceful, joyful home… and that begins with you. I encourage you to honor your limits—your time, your finances, your emotions, your energy levels—and do your best to stay within them as you prepare for this Christmas season. Keep things simple and stay present. It will truly be the best gift you give!

So, if this list inspires you and saves you time, I’m so glad! If it overwhelms you, feel free to click away. All items on this list are well-loved in our home or on our wishlist this year.

Many of these links are affiliate links, and I make a small commission if you purchase through them without added cost to you. Thank you for supporting my work!

10 gift ideas for women:

  • Fruit of the Spirit devotional journals: This gorgeous set of devotional journals would be a wonderful way to work through a study on the Fruit of the Spirit in the upcoming year.
  • Ilia Necessary Eye Shadow palette: I have loved Ilia's makeup this year, especially this eye shadow palette. It's a bit pricey, but it lasts a long time and has clean ingredients.
  • Raising Readers mug: One of my absolute favorite mugs for moms... we have these in five colors!
  • Hosanna Revival ESV Journaling Bible: This Bible makes my gift list year after year because it’s my favorite Bible I’ve ever owned. The journaling lines have helped me to engage with Scripture in a fresh way. It’s on sale this week!
  • Loré Pemberton 2025 calendar: I'm a long-time fan of Loré Pemberton's art, and this calendar is on my own wish list.
  • Dazzle Dry Mini Kit: Dazzle Dry nail polish has completely revolutionized my nails (they’re healthier than ever!) and has helped me stop going to the salon… ever. The mini kit is a great place to start if you want to try it. The best parts? It dries in 5 minutes, doesn’t chip for 7+ days, and doesn’t require a light to cure it. I’m a big fan! You can use my link for 20% off your first purchase of $65 or more!
  • Owala water bottle: I’ve had this one for about a year now, and it’s my favorite water bottle of all time! I drink more water because of it, no doubt.
  • Remembrance Locket by Dwell Differently: I purchased this locket over the summer and wear it all the time. It has the first letters of Philippians 1:3 engraved on the back, and the floral design on the front is beautiful.
  • Favorite stick vacuum: This is the vacuum our family uses for daily kitchen and dining room cleanup, and it is so lightweight (light enough for the kids to use it!), works well, and is currently deeply discounted.
  • Cozy slippers: I buy a pair of slippers every year around this time and wear them every morning until spring. This is the pair I recently bought and am loving! They’re also more than half off!

10 gift ideas for men:

  • Bug-A-Salt gun: We use this every day, multiple times a day. You put table salt inside and can shoot flies. It works amazingly well!
  • The Prodigal God by Tim Keller: A life-changing book for men or women.
  • Tweed blazer: A classic jacket you could dress up or down.
  • Soft, fitted T-shirts, perfect for everyday wear.
  • Electric pressure washer: We have this one and it has worked super well to clean up our sidewalks, patio, and side of the house!
  • Portable basketball hoop: This is the basketball hoop we have and use daily. Durable, adjustable, and so much fun!
  • LED flashlight: This would make a great stocking stuffer (it’s on sale for $8!), but this flashlight is lightweight but so powerful.
  • On Cloud sneakers: These are an investment but are the most comfortable shoes my husband has ever owned.
  • The best sheets: This is definitely more of a practical gift, but we bought these sheets a couple of years ago and they are 100% sateen, thick and soft, and feel like we’re sleeping on hotel sheets! We just bought more for our guestroom, they’re that good!
  • Purity Coffee sampler: Try 5 different kinds of antioxidant-rich, organic coffee. I ordered these for my husband and can't wait to try them!

10 gift ideas for boys:

  • Adventure Awaits library bag: This sturdy book bag comes in two colors and is perfect for your next adventure to the library!
  • Armor of God cards: Studying the Armor of God with your son would be a wonderful way to start the new year. These devotional cards make it easy!
  • Reading journal: Looking for a way to beautifully document the books you read in the coming year? This is it!
  • Yoto audiobook player + cards: We love the Yoto audiobook player, and each of our kids has a Yoto Mini (it’s the size we love and recommend!) and uses it every day. Don’t miss the 20% off sale happening now!
  • Rechargeable book light: Our kids love having their own book lights to spend a few minutes reading before bed, and these rechargeable lights are great, affordable options!
  • Redwall book series by Brian Jacques: This is our 12-year-old son, Liam’s, favorite series and he would recommend it to all boys ages 10+.
  • Soccer ball trainer: This is a creative way for kids to get independent soccer practice and grow in their ball-handling skills (or just have fun!)
  • Easy Rider: This is on the top of our boys’ Christmas list this year. It’s a scooter that you sit on, and it looks like so much fun!
  • Water bottle: Our boys love their Owala water bottles (and I love that they’re dishwasher safe and never leak!).
  • Devotional: This Bible study that works through the gospel of Mark is a perfect way to get kids engaged with Scripture (for ages 8-12). Liam has enjoyed all the Bible studies in this series, but this one has been his favorite.

10 gift ideas for girls:

  • Just a Girl library bag: This sturdy book bag comes in two colors and is perfect for your next adventure to the library!
  • Fruit of the Spirit cards: A simple study of the Fruit of the Spirit would be a wonderful way to begin the new year with your daughter, and these cards make it as simple as possible!
  • Reading journal: Looking for a way to beautifully document the books you read in the coming year? This is it!
  • Dazzle Dry Mini Kit: I love painting my daughter’s nails with Dazzle Dry, and I feel much more comfortable with the clean(er) ingredients than with other nail polish. There are so many wonderful colors to choose from, they dry in five minutes, and they don’t chip for days!
  • Yoto audiobook player + cards: We love the Yoto audiobook player, and each of our kids has a Yoto Mini (it’s the size we love and recommend!) and uses it every day. Don’t miss the 20% off sale happening now!
  • Pierced Co. earrings: These earrings are truly made to last and come with flatbacks, which make them comfortable to sleep in.
  • Sewing machine: One of my goals for the new year is to teach my daughter to sew (she is so eager to learn!) and we are going to start with this machine by Brother.
  • Bracelet-making kit: Lanie, our 9-year-old, loves making bracelets for her friends. We’re grabbing this bracelet kit so she has plenty of supplies!
  • Instax camera: This will forever be one of my daughter’s favorite Christmas gifts she’s ever received! We like to get her extra film for special occasions, and she loves to document our family trips and dates.
  • DevotionalThis Bible study on Romans 8 is simple but rich! Our daughter, Lanie, is currently working through it and learning so much.

10 stocking stuffer ideas:

  • Bible tabs: I am adding these beautiful Bible tabs in soft, earthy colors to my daughter’s stocking.
  • Detangling brush: This is our favorite detangling brush for after baths (for my daughter’s long hair) and I highly recommend it!
  • Air dry clay: These super lightweight packs of clay come in a variety of colors and are really fun to keep stocked at our house! Our kids like to play with them while I’m reading aloud.
  • Organic lip balm: I grab a set of organic lip balms every year and split them up among all the stockings. These taste and smell delicious!
  • Hu chocolate: These chocolate bars are sweetened with coconut sugar and they are delicious. If this is all that our kids got in their stockings, I think they’d be happy. Hazelnut butter is their favorite flavor!
  • Bananagrams: This game makes my gift list year after year because it’s our favorite game to play as a family! It has helped all of our children become stronger spellers without even feeling like work. This year, just for fun, I’m grabbing this tiny version
  • Bird call: I’m grabbing this for our bird- and crow-obsessed boy. It’s a fun way to summon birds in your backyard!
  • Color-changing cars: These color-changing cars (they change in warm and cold water) are always a hit with our two youngest boys.
  • Road stamp: This is technically a stamp that makes handwriting lines, but I am adding it to our little boys’ stockings to create roads for their cars.
  • Earthley Good Night Lotion: This is our favorite product from Earthley (a magnesium lotion), and it helps our kiddos get a restful night's sleep! We rub it on their tummies before they go to bed, and they have a much more restful night.
