5 Prayers to Pray for Your Pre-Teen
Next month, our oldest son, Liam, officially becomes a teenager, and I am so proud of the young man he is becoming.
These pre-teen years are full of growing hearts, big feelings, and lots of change. I'm leaning into prayer as we enter the teen years, and I hope you'll join me.
I pray that these simple prayers will be an encouragement to you as you pray over your kids, too!

Here's what I'm praying for...

For confidence and courage: Lord Jesus, Be my child’s constant companion in a world that can feel big and scary. Help them to know and trust Your presence over every fear. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9

For kindness and character: Father, Guard my child’s heart and keep it soft. Help them to love what is true, seek what is honorable, and walk in what is right. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. - Philippians 4:8
