Creation Story Watercolor Class
Is such a wonderfully thought through, Christ-centered curriculum that takes the guess work out of how to teach this concept! Love the delineation of Head knowledge and then Heart knowledge, taking biblical truths and concepts and layering your child’s heart with other elements to continue to support those biblical truths! The cohesive approach is totally a Deut 6 mentality of “writing these things (how to love the lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind) on their hearts. It is an intentional action to write these on their hearts (all the while, the parent is learning the same things and making sure they are FIRST writing it on their own hearts!)
We use this in the context of our Kidz department at our church, and because of the homeschool structure it embraces, it allows us to stay true to our mission and purpose as a Body of believers to support the home structure where the real responsibility of spiritually developing a child’s heart lies♥️ we can seamlessly “come alongside” our parents and continue to exercise Deut. 6 in a larger context of our ministry.
